Shredded some slope today. Maddi and I went down a blue slope today. As I was skiing for survival, Maddi's asking what time it is. I wish was as ignorant of pain as she is. She's scared of nothing. Mountain High is a nice place to go to for the day. My husband and I split our resources and were able to protect the kids from those darn trees and got them tired enough to get to bed early. It was a great day.

Enjoying a nice long weekend

Even though it's been raining, Valentine's Day offer some coziness with the fam. The kids and I tried some more geocaches this weekend. Tried to find one that was rated 4.5 stars and that got the better of us. Will try a 1 star this afternoon. Looking forward to celebrating my Mom next week. She turns 60 next week but acts like she's 21 . . . in a good way!

Successful Geocaching last night

Ok, we're hooked. We found one now we're 1 for 2. Going to try to make it 2 for 3 this afternoon. We're surprised to find this activity so popular! Last night geocache was signed by 50 people!! It was a micro, but we'll hunt out a bigger one today. Message said the ftf gets a lotto scratch card. Outta my way!!!

Geocaching

Through my Master's Program I have discovered the cool activity of geocaching. Bot I cannot wait to get my kids and hubby on an adventure! We will start with something I spotted in town, then venture out to somewhere farther away when we feel like we got it. I love the idea. I think it's creative and allows opportunity to spend with family. Looking forward to our first one this weekend!

The Super Bowl

Honestly, the whole day, I was preparing to feast. I couldn't care less about overpaid football players making more money; I was just looking forward to some chicken wings and a beer or two with family and friends. To my surprise, I was watching more of the game than I intended simply because it was a real contest, not a blowout like recent Super Bowls. I also enjoyed seeing my man Springsteen up there in, what looked like, a non-lip-synced performance. I had fun today.
